Banana FM is an urban top 40 station, the first of its kind in the Kilimanjaro region, which aspires to inspire, entertain and educate audience with top of the range programming, which includes music and news. The station’s mission is reflected in the slogan, “Chapa Kazi... Kula Raha”, which translates to – Work Hard …Have Fun. This is a philosophy we chose to encourage, cheer on and support our audiences’ daily work and livelihoods, as well as setting the mood for rewarding oneself after a long day of work. Banana FM broadcasts to the entire Kilimanjaro region on 98.7 FM frequency from Mkuu, Rombo studios as well as from field mirror studios in Moshi town.
